From Commodity Traders to Rice Exporters
HAS Rice Pakistan was established in 2005 as the rice processing and export arm of a family trading business that dates back to 1962. Our founder started in Karachi as a food commodity trader, building buyer relationships across Pakistan and the Middle East over four decades. Those relationships still form the backbone of our network today.
In 2005, we took a strategic decision: stop trading other people's rice and start processing our own. We invested in a dedicated rice mill in Karachi with modern sorting, grading, and packaging equipment. Today that facility processes 150 metric tons per day.
The third generation joined the business bringing technology, data, and digital infrastructure. We've shipped to 50+ countries since 2005 with a focus on consistent quality, on-time shipments, and complete documentation.
